This notice describes All the World’s privacy policy for the website at www.alltheworld.com (the “Website”) and mobile and TV App All The World, distributed by All The World (the “App,” together with the Website, the “All The World Products”).

By using the All The World Products, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

We may revise this privacy policy at any time, and the date of last revision will be available at the top of this page.

By visiting the Website or using the App, you understand and accept this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the All The World Products after changes have been posted to the Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.

What information we collect:

All The World may ask for and collect from you personally identifiable depending on the information and/or services you request, including your name (screen or nickname), email address, a gender, birth date, company and other information.

Once you provide your personal information, you are not anonymous to All The World.

All The World also collects information about the device used to play our App, such as IP addresses, operating system, device type, and versions of our App you are using. All The World may also track, archive, and use information regarding your use of the App as provided herein, including information about level of usage and particular features used. This data is used to more efficiently operate All The World’s business, promote our products and services and administer the All The World Products.

How All The World uses your information:

• To provide you with personalized content.
• To process and respond to inquiries.
• To improve the content, usability, and navigability of the All The World Products.
• To contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you.
• To alert you to new All The World Products including new features, special events, and products and services.

Communications:

On the App, parents have the option to submit their own or their children’s story ideas for new films, art, experiments and own films, also referred to on the app as submissions, via-mail. On the Website parents have the option to subscribe to our newsletter.

You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.

In the future, All The World may sell some or all or our assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. In the event of a merger or sale of our assets including our database, customer information will be transferred. All the World will require buyers to honor this Privacy Policy or notify you before making any material changes to the practices outlined in this Policy.

Information Sharing with Unaffiliated Third Parties:

All The World may disclose your personally identifiable information to another entity for the following reasons: (i) for purposes of outsourcing one or more of the functions described in the previous section; (ii) to confirm or update information provided by you; (iii) to inform you of important information; and/or (iv) as a part of a sale of assets as described in the previous section. We may also share your information in response to a subpoena, legal order or official request, or when we believe that doing so may protect your safety or the safety of others.

We may include links to third parties from our Website or App. All The World isn’t responsible for these companies and including a link to them does not mean that All The World endorses them. So be sure to check their privacy policies if you decide to visit them. And remember, your use of All The World Products and services may also be subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of other services that All The World does not control, such as mobile application stores, mobile software platforms, online social media sites, or payment processors.

How we collect information:

In addition to the methods described above, we may also collect information using cookies, locally stored Flash objects (sometimes referred to as “Flash cookies”), and analytic software embedded in the App.

How we protect information:

All The World attempts to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information. Our servers are protected by reasonable physical and electronic security measures. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the personal Information we have collected from you.

Children:

All The World has designed the All The World Products for parents and their young children. All The World is committed to protecting the privacy needs of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests.

All The World does not intend All The World Products for use by children under the age of 13 without parental supervision. All the World does not seek to collect any personally identifiable information directly from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit any personally identifiable information to All The World. All The World has taken measures so certain features on the App are age-gated, so that they’re not for use by children, and All The World does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 in connection to those features.

All The World additionally notes that (i) any personally identifiable information or data that is inadvertently collected from a child will be deleted at the request of the parent or guardian, and (ii) should personally identifiable information or data be collected from a child, such information or data will only be used for educational purposes.

All The World Products in Schools:

For All The World Products that are strictly educational, COPPA allows schools special permissions to provide consent for services that are strictly educational. Under best practices, if a teacher chooses to act in loco parentis by using All The World Products in the classroom, All The World advises them to review our Terms of Use and Policies closely, work with their school to obtain written consent for, to keep that consent on file, and to notify parents of the All The World Terms of Use and Policies. In addition, All The World does not collect, use, or disclose personal information from a child if the Teacher User acting in loco parentis does not provide consent.

International Transfer:

Your information, including personal Information, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that All The World transfers the information, including personal information, to the United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

The All The World Products may contain links to third-party websites. All The World is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.

Data Retention:

The All The World Products also retain data only as long as it is necessary to provide the service. If it is no longer needed, All The World deletes data from our records within a reasonable timeframe. If you want to opt out of services, or review or delete your information, please submit a request to the address listed in the Contact section below.

Your California Privacy Rights:

If you are a California resident, you are entitled by law to request an Information Sharing Disclosure. If you request it, All The World will provide you with a notice of your right to prevent sharing of your personal information as well as a cost-free means of doing so. To receive such a notice, submit a request to the address listed in the Contact section below, specifying that you seek your “California Customer Choice Notice.” Please allow thirty days for a response.

Changes To This Privacy Policy:

This Privacy Policy is effective as of December 10th, 2019 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. All The World reserves the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically.

Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. If All the World makes any material changes to this Privacy Policy, All The World will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
